Harvestry

harvestry.io

An enterprise-grade Cultivation OS that unifies ERP, regulatory compliance, and prescriptive environmental control into a single platform -- replacing a patchwork of disconnected tools with real-time telemetry, closed-loop crop steering, and AI-driven yield prediction.

Harvey: AI Cultivation Copilot

Harvey lives inside the dashboard and understands your facility. Ask it to adjust crop steering parameters, schedule a production run, forecast labor needs, or reassign tasks across your team.

Built on domain-specific context — not generic chat. Harvey knows your rooms, your recipes, your schedules, and your sensor history. It acts on real data, not guesses.

The Challenge

Large-scale cultivation operators were running on a patchwork of spreadsheets, standalone sensors, and manual compliance workflows. Critical data lived in silos -- environment readings in one tool, inventory in another, compliance submissions done by hand.

  • Manual cultivation tracking across dozens of grow rooms with no unified view
  • Disconnected tools for environment, inventory, and processing with no data handoff
  • Compliance reporting to METRC and BioTrack required hours of error-prone manual entry
  • No closed-loop control -- operators reacted to problems instead of preventing them

Our Approach

We built Harvestry as a single platform that owns the full cultivation lifecycle -- from seed to sale to regulatory submission. Every microservice was designed around a bounded domain with clearly defined event contracts.

  • Unified platform with 21 microservices covering identity, spatial, inventory, processing, sensors, irrigation, environment, interlocks, and analytics
  • Real-time IoT telemetry from edge controllers with safety interlocks that act in milliseconds, not minutes
  • Closed-loop crop steering that adjusts irrigation, fertigation, and HVAC based on live sensor data and AI yield models
  • Automated compliance with direct METRC and BioTrack API integration -- eliminating manual data entry entirely

Technology

A production architecture built for real-time control, regulatory auditability, and scale. PostgreSQL handles transactional data with row-level security, TimescaleDB stores high-frequency sensor telemetry, and ClickHouse powers analytical queries across billions of data points. Full observability via Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Tempo, and Sentry.
