A useful park plan has to respond to changing waits and availability without losing the family's priorities. Rope Drop Hero connects planning, monitoring, and action around the same day.

Ride Radar & Magic MapRide Radar surfaces shorter waits, reopenings, and changing conditions. Magic Map adds walking time, ride status, and plan context so the next decision has a place on the map.

Lightning Lane booking & modificationGuests choose attractions, party members, and return-time windows. Eligible Hero and Starlight plans can book qualifying openings and keep searching for an authorized modification. Disney eligibility, availability, and the guest's settings determine what can happen.

Dining ScoutWatch a restaurant, date, party size, and meal window. When a matching opening appears, the guest receives an alert and reviews and completes the reservation with Disney. Dining Scout does not perform unattended checkout.

Park RangerAsk what to do next and get guidance informed by the active plan, reservations, location, and current conditions, with an explanation of why the recommendation fits.

Quest BuilderBuild the day around must-do attractions, party needs, meals, pace, and breaks. Those choices give the rest of the app a shared plan to work from.

Starlight ConciergeA planning layer designed to protect fixed commitments and surface bounded adjustments when the day changes, with approval for consequential actions and a record of what changed.

CONTEXTUAL AI · CONTROLLED ACTIONS

Advice and automation need the same context.

Park Ranger uses the family's active plan and live conditions to make advice relevant to the moment. Starlight extends that planning context to proposed changes, protecting commitments and keeping the guest's permissions in view.

A suggested next ride, a Lightning Lane booking, and a dining alert are different actions with different boundaries. The product distinguishes recommendations from authorized execution; neither availability nor a booking result is guaranteed.

What this demonstrates for a client project

The engineering challenge is not a collection of screens. It is keeping a mobile application, live data, user preferences, and automated actions working from consistent context.

Current park dataChanging waits, ride status, schedules, and availability inform the active plan. An opening is time-sensitive information, not a promise that it will still be available.

Automation with explicit permissionsGuest selection, eligibility, enabled settings, and return-time rules bound Lightning Lane actions. Dining availability leads to a guest-controlled reservation handoff.

AI inside a working productThe assistant has a specific job: use park knowledge and the family's current context to explain useful next steps. Planning and action remain connected to the application's rules.
