01

Listen

We discuss your processes and can even visit your facility to watch the work happen. Either way, we map the workflow as it actually runs — not as it's drawn on the org chart.

02

Scope

A written plan you can act on. Whether it's a strategy summary or a full build plan, the work, dependencies, and risks are documented — not stuck in an email thread.

03

Build

Production-ready code, weekly working builds, no slide deck handoffs. You see progress in your own repo every week.

04

Deploy

Observability, alerting, and rollback engineered in from day one. Not bolted on the week before launch.

05

Support

We stay accountable after launch. Direct access to the engineers who built the system, not a ticket queue.

Mortgage lender

Their loan origination system is being shut down. We're rebuilding the data layer that runs the business — without breaking what's already running.

The lender's reporting and CRM workflows ran on a loan origination system being deprecated. We're translating the SQL data layer to its replacement, modernizing the executive Power BI reporting on top of it, and replacing a manual CSV-based CRM process with an automated, dry-run-safe integration. Along the way we identified upstream data accuracy issues silently affecting production reporting and coordinated remediation across multiple vendors.

The whole engagement is engineered for safe cutover. Parallel-run reconciliation, idempotent integration, reproducible data paths. The lender keeps reporting accuracy through the migration, picks up automation that wasn't there before, and ends up with a modern data stack that outlasts our involvement.

The arc of the engagement
  1. → When we started

Pipeline reporting depended on a loan origination system being deprecated. CRM workflows handled by manual CSV exports. Reporting accuracy gaps with no documented root cause. Three vendors with no single technical bridge between them.

  2. → What's changednow

SQL data layer translating to the new platform with parallel-run validation. TypeScript integration service replacing the manual CRM export. Upstream ETL failures identified, documented, and resolved. Single technical owner capable of managing the full stack across vendors.

  3. → Where we're heading

Continued reporting modernization through the platform cutover. Production rollout of the CRM sync. Expansion of commission and override reporting for the loan officer team.

What does Advanced Agritek do?
Advanced Agritek is a Bloomington, Illinois engineering firm that builds custom software, AI workflow automation, and production AI agents, and trains teams to use AI as a skill multiplier, for small-to-medium businesses across central and north-central Illinois.
Where do you work?
We work in your facility and remotely. Our office is in Bloomington, IL, and we are within ninety minutes of most central-Illinois SMBs, including Peoria, Champaign-Urbana, Springfield, Decatur, the Illinois Valley corridor, and surrounding communities.
What does it cost to start?
The first consult is free. It is a 20-30 minute fit call about the workflow costing your business time. If the workflow is repeated, expensive enough to matter, and clear enough to map, the next paid step is usually our $999 AI Strategy Audit.
What industries do you work with?
We focus on small-to-medium businesses in central Illinois, including financial institutions, manufacturing and fabrication, distribution, healthcare practices and clinic groups, professional services, agriculture and ag services, logistics, regional retail, and the trades.
What is the difference between a free consult and the AI Strategy Audit?
The free consult is a short fit call to understand the workflow, tools, people, and handoffs involved. The $999 AI Strategy Audit is a paid working session that produces a written report with 3-5 prioritized automation opportunities, a priority matrix, annual-value estimates, and a walkthrough call.
Do you train teams that are not building anything new?
Yes. AI enablement engagements work for teams that want to use AI inside their existing tools and roles without building custom systems. Workshops are tailored to your industry, the tools you already use, and the governance you need.
What if it does not work?
The audit deliverable is yours regardless. For builds, we ship weekly working code in your repo from week one. You see progress, you own the work, and you can stop at any phase boundary.
